We opened our doors in 2001 as a Turkish family with a simple goal: bring the flavors of the Aegean coast into a food Americans already knew and loved. Rather than pick one cuisine over the other, we decided to let pizza and Mediterranean cooking share the same kitchen. What came out of that is a menu built for people who like a little variety on their plate and in their life.

Most of what we serve is prepared daily, because reheated hummus and stale pita are not something we are willing to put our name on. Our cooks hand toss every pizza dough, our sauces are made in house, and we import Manchego cheese from Spain and baklava straight from Turkey because some things are worth bringing in from far away. Every plate on this menu comes from a halal kitchen, prepared with the same care whether it is a kebab platter or a slice of pizza.
You will find us on Fourth Avenue, tucked into one of Pittsburgh's oldest and most walkable downtown blocks. It is the kind of street where office workers grab lunch, neighbors stop in for dinner, and out of towners wander in without knowing quite what they are about to find. Once they taste the kebab pizza, they usually come back.
